Tea Room

The White Hart Tea Room is Leek’s oldest tea shop, located at the very top of the town’s traditional Market Square. This Grade II listed building has been carefully and sympathetically restored and refurbished and many original features have been retained that simply add to the charm and ambience.

Food at the White Hart Tea Room Leek has an enviable reputation for being of exceptional quality. Wherever possible local produce is used and there’s the chance to indulge in local delicacies such as Staffordshire Oatcakes or Lobby.

The White Hart Tea Room provides the perfect place to eat in Leek and is open daily for breakfast, morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea; a traditional Sunday Lunch is served and there is also a dedicated children’s menu too. As everything is freshly prepared we have the flexibility to cater for special dietary requirements. Gluten free and dairy free options are always available as well as dishes suitable for vegetarians and vegans. We even provide a Slimming World breakfast for anyone watching their weight! Take a look at our Menus.

The White Hart is listed in the Coeliac UK Venue guide and has been a regular winner and finalist in the Taste of Staffordshire Awards for Best Staffordshire Tea Room.

Courtyard

As well as the tea room, when the weather is kind, The White Hart has a self-contained outdoor courtyard; a haven for alfresco dining or the perfect place to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine in the sun. Well-behaved dogs who keep all 4 paws on the floor are also welcome to sit in the courtyard too.
